LanguageOne's Study Trips in 2008-2009

LanguageOne's Conversation Clubs

Last spring we began our "Conversation Clubs". We created this "Club" in response to many requests to practice more than once a week. We wanted to create a setting where our current & former students, neighbors & others in the community can practice or learn a language in a non-classroom environment and discuss topics of interest in a free form. It is designed to be different from our regular language classes. These sessions are an opportunity to practice the new language in a natural, spontaneous way (especially suggested for advanced beginners & intermediate students, but open to all levels) Our native teachers will "guide' the group to stay in the target language and will suggest a topic or task each week. Arrival and dismissal will be flexible so that you can arrive late or leave early. Membership is open to LanguageOne students only; however, friends, neighbors, visitors and significant others are welcome to accompany members and pay a drop-in fee.
